A tragic incident has occurred in Kogi State as a man clubbed to death over bathing spot dispute lost his life following a violent altercation in a local community.

The victim, identified as 45-year-old Ali Edicha, was reportedly killed in Aloji, located in Ofu Local Government Area of the state. The fatal attack stemmed from a disagreement linked to the use of a bathing area, which escalated into a deadly confrontation.

According to reports, the dispute quickly turned violent, with the suspect allegedly striking Edicha with a club during the altercation. The injuries sustained proved fatal, leading to his death at the scene.

Sources within the community indicated that disagreements over shared facilities such as water sources and bathing spots are not uncommon, but rarely reach such deadly levels. The incident has therefore raised concerns among residents about conflict resolution and the need for stronger community intervention mechanisms.
