Album release alert: Mayorkun returns with his third album “Still The Mayor” on June 13, packed with 12 tracks and star-studded features.

Mayorkun officially announced that his long-awaited third album, Still The Mayor, will be released on June 13, 2025, on all major platforms.

This album marks his first full-length release since 2021’s Back In Office. The singer took extra time—delaying the original May release—to ensure every track met clearance and quality standards

The 12-track project includes heavy-hitters like:

  • “Innocent” featuring Fireboy DML
  • “Blessings On Blessing (B.O.B)” with Davido
  • “Reason 2 Japa”

Collaborations with Rotimi, King Promise, Olivetheboy, Dreamo, The Flowolf, Michii, and more
Mayorkun called Still The Mayor his most challenging work yet. He said the title isn’t about proving anything—it’s a bold sequel intended to spark curiosity .

Before the full release, he dropped singles like “Innocent” and “Reason 2 Japa,” both drawing praise for their lyrical depth and musical evolution. The latter explores Nigeria’s Japa wave and the hunger for greener pastures.

In an Instagram reveal, Mayorkun posted the tracklist and cover art, featuring him surrounded by suited men, Nigerian flag visible—an image loaded with identity and power symbolism.
