Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, was on Friday indicted on charges of fraud over Victor Osimhen transfer

This is due false accounting related to the transfers of Victor Osimhen and Kostas Manolas.

The prosecutors are alleging inflated valuations, leaked testimonies which revealed pressure behind the deals.

A full trial is now set for 2026.

The indictment covers the 2019, 2020 and 2021 financial years.

Napoli signed Manolas from Roma in 2019 and Osimhen from Lille in 2020.

The club’s lawyers have strongly contested the charges, calling the ruling “astonishing,” and insisted that “Napoli gained no financial advantage” from either deal.
