According to early reports, the attackers invaded the school during hours when students were still within the premises, taking several pupils away.

The exact number of abducted students has not yet been confirmed as authorities and residents scramble for information.

Witnesses said panic quickly spread across the area as parents rushed to the school, desperate to know whether their children were among those taken.

Residents described the incident as another painful reminder of the growing insecurity in parts of the state.

A local source known as D English Alhaji also revealed in a fresh update that some students were indeed taken from the school, further intensifying fear in the community.

Security agencies are yet to release an official statement, but community members say the situation has left families distressed as they wait for clarity and government response

Nigerians have taken to social media to express outrage and frustration over the latest abduction in Nasarawa.

@Gboye_Rave wrote: “The entire security architecture in the country is completely broken. It’s insane.”

@debex_guy added: “This is heartbreaking and completely unacceptable.

How can students keep getting abducted back-to-back while those in power act like everything is normal? Every new incident is a reminder of how deeply the system has failed.

Innocent children are being taken, families are traumatized, and the government still can’t secure schools.

Another one again? This is beyond alarming, it’s a national disgrace.”

@Ben_Harry7 commented: “No be country we deh like this oo, I no sure say e get any country wey fit endure wetin we don endure for this country as a citizen.

As families in Rukubi wait anxiously for updates, the incident has once again reignited nationwide calls for urgent and effective action to secure schools across the country.
