Nigeria accounts for 6% of global UK visit visas, says British envoy, highlighting strong bilateral ties and high visa approval rates.

The United Kingdom’s minister David Hanson disclosed these statistics during his recent visit to Nigeria.

He stated that Nigeria’s strong ties with the UK rest on its substantial contribution to visa issuance highlighting the growing bond between nations and crucial binding force of human connections.

The United Kingdom issued around 300,000 new visas to Nigerians together with 6% of total global visit visas throughout recent years.

The 300,000 new visas issued by the UK contained different types like work permits, study permissions and family reunification visas.

British High Commissioner to Nigeria Richard Montgomery confirmed that Nigerians make essential contributions to social care work in the UK through his observations.

The visa approval rates for Nigerians continue high when they submit accurate documentation.

These robust visa numbers demonstrate the long-lasting bond between Nigeria and the UK which enables cultural interactions as well as economic business ventures and academic possibilities.

Each nation works to develop new paths that will deepen their bilateral alliance.
