Dangote trucks controversy has sparked even more reactions online after a truck driver gave a bizarre explanation when asked for his papers.

In a circulating video, the driver claimed he had bathed at Safele, put his license in his trouser, removed the trouser, dropped it on the ground, and could no longer find the document.

The clip has fueled anger online, especially as Dangote trucks have recently been linked to multiple fatal accidents. Many victims’ families allege that unlicensed or poorly trained drivers are being put on the road without oversight.

Road safety advocates warn that this is not an isolated problem. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has previously raised concerns about heavy-duty drivers operating without proper documentation, endangering lives nationwide.

Public frustration has grown as the number of road deaths connected to Dangote trucks continues to rise. Critics argue that the company must enforce stricter driver checks and take responsibility for those employed to operate its fleet.

This excuse just proves reckless trucking culture and lack of accountability.
Nigerians are demanding immediate solutions, calling on both Dangote Group and regulators to act before more lives are lost.
