Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has declared that President Bola Tinubu’s rise to office was decreed by God and that no political coalition can prevent his re‑election in 2027.

Speaking at the APC South‑East stakeholders’ meeting in Abakaliki, Nwifuru said Tinubu’s victory in 2023 defied expectations because it was “God chose President Bola Ahmed Tinubu contrary to the wishes and expectations of the opposition”.

He stressed that divinity also protects Tinubu’s prospects for 2027, insisting that “no amount of coalition can derail God’s purpose in 2027”
