Nigerian TikTok creator Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, widely known as Jarvis, recently spoke out in defense of her former boyfriend and fellow streamer, Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, also known as Peller, amid criticisms questioning his educational background.
The remarks came just days after their highly publicized breakup, during which Jarvis addressed misconceptions surrounding Peller’s schooling.
She clarified that while he did not pursue higher education, it does not mean he is uneducated.
Jarvis explained that Peller successfully completed his secondary education and holds a WAEC certificate, highlighting that he has undergone formal schooling.
She emphasized the distinction between someone who lacks education entirely and someone who simply did not attend university or other tertiary institutions.
She added that Peller’s inability to continue his education was due to financial constraints, a challenge faced by many young Nigerians.
Jarvis also shared that her own academic journey was aided by support she received after gaining fame during her third year at university, noting that not everyone has access to such opportunities.
Peller has gained recognition within the streaming community, and Jarvis’s defense aimed to correct misunderstandings that could undermine his reputation.
The two were once a celebrated duo in the online entertainment space, frequently appearing in livestreams together before their relationship ended in December 2025.
Despite their breakup, Jarvis chose to clarify that Peller’s lack of university education should not be mistaken for illiteracy.on”
