Sophia Momodu, the baby mother of Afrobeats star Davido (real name David Adeleke), has shared her thoughts following the conclusion of the custody dispute with the singer.
The two had been involved in a legal battle over the care of their daughter, Imade, until Davido announced that he was withdrawing the case, explaining his reasons for doing so.
In a recent social media post, Sophia was seen dancing with joy while sharing a Bible verse, hinting at her sense of triumph.
She spoke about her covenant with God, emphasizing that He has consistently fulfilled His promises in her life.
Accompanying her post were the words “Trust God Always” and the word “Happiness” in bold, reflecting her celebratory mood.
She also referenced Psalm 68:5: “A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.”
The post sparked mixed reactions from fans.
Some praised Sophia for expressing herself and questioned why she faced criticism, while others argued that Davido should maintain equal involvement in his daughter Imade’s life.
