Doris Ogala Defends Regina Daniels, Says Actress Never Admitted to Doing Drvgs
Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has come to the defence of her colleague Regina Daniels, denying claims that Regina admitted to taking drugs in her recent statement addressing her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Earlier today, Regina Daniels had released a lengthy post responding to Nwoko’s allegations that she abuses drugs.
In the post, she expressed disappointment over his actions and accused him of twisting the truth to damage her reputation.
Ned, how could you lie so openly and without even small remorse? You know my family has absolutely nothing to do with this.
You have always tried to cut them off because of the bond we share, and now you are trying to make them look bad for no reason.
Fine, I did drugs. So what? Is that even the issue between us?
The moment we had a fight, you rushed to the public shouting ‘drugs, drugs, drugs,’ because you knew it would make a perfect story for the media — something dramatic enough to distract everyone from the real issue!”
Dollar to Naira exchange rate today, November 10, 2025
Nigeria’s official Daily Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rate opened the week around ₦1,436–₦1,437 to the US dollar on Monday, November 10, 2025, while the parallel (black/BDC) market continued to trade the dollar roughly between ₦1,450 and ₦1,470 depending on location and dealer.
NFEM/official (volume-weighted average): about ₦1,436–₦1,437 per $1.Parallel/BDC (reported ranges): buy ₦1,450–₦1,458; sell ₦1,460–₦1,470.
The official FX window — the Daily Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) — remained close to the mid-₦1,430s, reflecting steady dollar inflows from exporters and remittances that kept official liquidity intact.
At the same time, dollar demand in cash-heavy city BDC markets pushed parallel-market quotes higher, producing the persistent spread between the official and street rates.
Analysts point to a mix of structural and cyclical factors: the end of subsidy-related pressures, improved dollar inflows linked to higher non-oil earnings, and recent policy moves by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
But limited access to small-dollar cash and the fragmented nature of BDC liquidity keep parallel-market premiums in place.
International market sentiment and capital flows remain important drivers of short-term moves.

No work, no pay’ unjust, negates fair labour relations — NASU
The Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) has called on government officials to stop using the ‘No Work, No Pay’ policy as a tool of intimidation against workers.
Prince Peters Adeyemi, General Secretary of NASU, made the call in a statement on Sunday in Abuja, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Adeyemi said the repeated threats by government representatives to invoke the policy were “unjust and contrary to the principles of fair labour relations.”
He said the policy, which is often cited from Section 42(1)(a) of the Trade Disputes Act, had been misused to silence lawful industrial actions by workers.
“The ‘No Work, No Pay’ provision was never intended to be a weapon of oppression. It should not be used to criminalise legitimate struggles for fairness, dignity, and the fulfillment of agreements,” he said.
Adeyemi explained that strikes were never impulsive actions, but the last resort taken after all lawful and conciliatory avenues had been exhausted.
