President Donald Trump on Saturday said he has instructed the Defense Department to “prepare for possible action” in Nigeria over the country’s alleged killing of Christians.
“If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities,” Trump wrote on social media

PDP, NNPP, CUPP accuse Tinubu of forcing defections
Opposition parties have accused President Bola Tinubu of using public resources and anti-graft agencies to pressure opposition members into joining the All Progressives Congress.
The parties stated that the APC was on the verge of collapse following the recent wave of defections from opposition parties into its ranks.

But the APC Director of Publicity, Bala Ibrahim, stated that recent defections to the party were voluntary and inspired by the ruling party’s achievements, not through coercion.
He added that the APC was well-structured, capable of managing its internal affairs effectively, and therefore would not experience any internal crisis.

Tinubu assures farmers of subsidized fertilizer next season — Yari
Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar, representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, says President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerian farmers that they will smile next farming season as the Federal Government plans to provide fertilizer in sufficient quantity and at subsidized.
Yari made this known while speaking with journalists shortly after addressing state executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who paid him a visit at his residence in Talata-Mafara on Saturday.
He said President Tinubu is committed to strengthening citizens’ welfare and has put mechanisms in place to make fertilizer available and affordable for farmers nationwide to boost agricultural productivity and improve food security.
