A former presidential candidate and founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party, Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has affirmed that he is undeterred by legal or political manoeuvres aimed at weakening the PDP, insisting that Nigeria’s multiparty democracy is too deeply rooted to be destroyed.
In a strongly worded statement in Kaduna on Wednesday, Olawepo-Hashim said he was “not intimidated by the legal and political subterfuge sponsored by the ruling APC,” stressing that no individual or party can monopolise power in Nigeria.

The current Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye, had earlier approached me with a proposal to remake Ogbori Elemosho and requested information on the cost implications.“
He estimated the project at about N100 million, after which the monarch suggested that the production could go beyond that budget and requested changes to the script, promising to revert.”
