President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has admitted the hardship caused by his administration’s economic reforms, stating that he has also personally felt the impact of the policies.
Tinubu made the remark on Sunday while accepting the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 election.
Addressing party leaders and supporters at the Bola Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja, the president said the reforms introduced by his administration were necessary despite the difficulties Nigerians are facing
According to him, the process of rebuilding the country has been painful for both citizens and himself.
He said: “I know what it takes to reform this nation we met in tatters. If you lost sleep, I’ve lost some too. If you’ve lost weight, I’ve lost some too.
