Media personality Toke Makinwa has delighted fans with a joyful update-she’s expecting a baby girl.
The 40-year-old revealed the gender of her unborn child in a heartfelt message shared on her Instagram Story, writing:
“It’s a girl! My heart is full. God really makes everything beautiful in His own time.”
Fans and fellow celebrities immediately flooded social media with congratulatory messages, calling the announcement “perfect timing” especially since her close friend and fashion designer Toju Foyeh is also currently expecting.
This comes just days after Toke shared a deeply personal reflection on her journey to motherhood, admitting she once feared being the “oldest parent in the room.”
“I used to worry about being the only one with a toddler while everyone else’s kids are already grown… but look at God, our babies now get to grow together,” she wrote in an emotional post.
Toke first announced her pregnancy earlier this week with a touching video, describing it as “the biggest project of my life” and “the highest calling ever.”
With the gender now revealed, fans are already looking forward to the next update, possibly a name reveal or baby shower.
For now, Toke says she is simply “enjoying every moment” of this long-awaited blessing.
