Nigerian pop icon Davido has once again made headlines with an extravagant gesture by gifting his long-time logistics manager Israel DMW a Rolex wristwatch during a visit to New York.
The giveaway reportedly cost several million naira, sparking excitement and admiration online.
Israel, visibly overwhelmed with joy, documented the moment on Instagram: Davido bought the watch while attending a jewelry store together. Israel slipped the timepiece onto his wrist, beaming as he expressed gratitude.
This generous act adds to Davido’s record of rewarding his inner circle with luxury gifts—from cars and houses to diamond-studded pendants.
Back in 2022, he famously gifted Israel a brand-new Toyota Venza, stating, “Loyalty pays.”
Davido’s crew of team members also received multimillion naira diamond-studded pendants and Cartier eyewear recently, reinforcing a culture of appreciation and loyalty in his entourage.
