Social activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has reignited public interest in the Mohbad investigation, after revealing that his latest findings point to “a lot of conspiracy” that has still not been explained.
In a post shared on social media, VDM suggested that certain key individuals may have deeper involvement in the late singer’s case than the public has been led to believe.
“My recent investigation about Mohbad… a lot of conspiracy that I am yet to understand,” he said.
“What was the interest? Why was Dre there? Why did he offer ₦2 million to Baba Mohbad, and the same person was part of the group chat champions? Why did he never mention this?”
VDM also hinted that more details may soon come to light and warned that he is prepared to go public with names if those involved attempt to deny the claim.
“I will wait for him to deny or do damage control,” he added.
His post immediately stirred reactions online, with many Nigerians asking if VDM plans to release a full exposé.
The Mohbad case has remained an emotional and controversial topic since the singer’s death in September 2023, triggering protests and multiple investigations over alleged bullying, unpaid royalties, and questions around his burial and autopsy.
As at this time, neither Dre nor Mohbad’s family have responded to VDM’s new claims.
