Nigerian music sensation Peter Okoye of the defunct P-Square duo has made startling revelations about his finances amid the lingering rift with his family.
The artist famously known as Mr. P asserted he now earns significantly more as a solo act than he ever did during P-Square’s peak years.
The statement came as a pointed response to recent comments by his brother Jude Okoye, who had suggested the group’s breakup negatively impacted both Peter and Paul’s careers.
“The numbers don’t lie,” Peter fired back on social media. “My last tour grossed more than any P-Square tour ever did. My brand endorsements? Bigger. My streaming numbers? Consistently higher.”
Music executive Godwin Tom added: “While P-Square was iconic, Peter has successfully rebranded himself for the digital era. His business acumen deserves recognition.”
The public exchange has reignited interest in one of Nigeria’s most storied entertainment feuds, now entering its eighth year since the twin brothers’ bitter separation.
