President Museveni told the public that funds dedicated to education health care and wedding costs should not be used. The national goal is to promote income-generating activities so that each Ugandan person can start their day with meaningful plans for work. His statements explained that PDM funds exist to boost household economic activities which should lead Ugandans from farming to earning income.

The President pointed out urgent social demands in Ugandan communities yet he declared economic development to be the immediate priority. The government will launch distinct initiatives for social problems in the upcoming period according to his assurances. He initiated plans to remove exploitative lending institutions and money lenders as part of his approach to empower citizens through economic development.

President Museveni praised the Kigezi sub-region people for their good response to the National Resistance Movement’s (NRM) wealth creation programs by sharing stories about residents who developed financial stability through government initiatives. The president emphasized that Ugandans should join PDM Savings and Credit Cooperative Organizations (SACCOs) for complete participation in the program.

President Museveni declared his government will dedicate Shs100 million each year for continuous funding support. The people who received benefits first will begin paying back the loan funds during their third year. The ongoing release of funds for the next two terms will enable each parish to accumulate more than Shs1 billion in its PDM SACCO. Your funds received should remain untouched since they’re part of your property. The structured funding system builds an investment cycle to maintain economic expansion throughout communal areas.

Ugandan authorities introduced the Parish Development Model which enables poverty elimination through local community empowerment through funding and knowledge transfer. The program aims to raise agricultural output while adding market value to produce through improved market access strategies. Through his tour and following statements the President sought to boost the program’s goals while maintaining resource efficiency for lasting development achievements.

President Museveni places importance on proper PDM fund management as part of his economic strategy to build Ugandan self-reliance. The government utilizes funded productive activities to establish a strong economy while improving citizen’s overall welfare.
