AI holds vital importance for the digital transformation of Rwanda according to the Minister of ICT and Innovation Paula Ingabire.

She emphasized that AI-enabled solutions demonstrate potential to both increase economic growth rates and optimize service operations and executive decision-making throughout healthcare and finance departments and educational institutions.

Her perspective includes a commitment to establish laws which will protect ethical and transparent use of AI systems.
