An intriguing incident in Katsina State has gone viral after X user @GallantDaletian claimed that villagers outsmarted bandits who had kidnapped their relatives.

According to the post, the relatives of the abducted villagers decided to “take matters into their own hands” by kidnapping family members of the bandits and demanding a swap.

An intriguing development has unfolded in Katsina State, where villagers have successfully employed a daring strategy to secure the release of their abducted relatives by taking matters into their own hands.

The event, which was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @GallantDaletian, detailed how bandits who had kidnapped local villagers were surprisingly outsmarted by the very people they had targeted.

The post stated:

“An intriguing turn of events has unfolded in Kastina, where bandits who had kidnapped villagers were outsmarted by the very people they targeted.

Relatives of the abducted villagers took matters into their own hands, kidnapping family members of the bandits and demanding a swap.

”The plan, described as unconventional but effective, worked immediately:

“The plan worked, the bandits released the villagers and even offered compensation in the form of money.”
