The United States government has again issued a stern warning to Nigerian politicians and elites involved in corruption, stating that its visa restrictions extend to even the most “high-profile” individuals.

Visa Ban Awaits Nigerians, this was said in a circular release shared on X by the U.S. Mission in Nigeria

The American government made it clear that corrupt practices carry international consequences that cannot be shielded by political power or influence at home.

The statement, posted with the hashtag #VisaWiseTravelSmart, read:
