Leigh Leopards continue their impressive Women’s Super League campaign with a 42–6 win over Warrington Wolves, maintaining a perfect start to the season.
Leigh Leopards have continued their strong return to the Women’s Super League by defeating Warrington Wolves 42–6, securing their second consecutive win of the season.
The Leopards took an early lead with tries from Mackenzie Taylor, Abby Latchford, and Kate Howard, establishing a 16–0 advantage within the first 23 minutes.
Emma Baggaley’s converted try extended the lead to 24–0 before Warrington’s Danni Bound scored their sole try just before halftime.
In the second half, Leigh maintained their dominance with additional tries from Howard, Abi Johnston, and Hattie Dogus.
Charlotte Melvin contributed significantly by successfully converting all seven of her goal attempts.
This victory follows Leigh’s 42–10 win over Barrow in their season opener, highlighting their strong form since rejoining the top tier.
Conversely, Warrington Wolves have now suffered two consecutive defeats, extending their losing streak to ten matches dating back to the previous season.
