Trippier Transfer Standstill commenced with a late bid of 2.5 million pounds by Galatasaray with add-ons on Kieran Trippier before the Turkish transfer deadline .

Newcastle was quick to turn down the offer. Eddie Howe explained the importance of Trippier, mentioning his new form and leadership in the upcoming Carabao Cup Final and the Premier League run.

The 34-year-old full-back had started the season poorly but came back to form in the month of December and justified his value .

Although it was earlier reported that Bayern Munich and clubs in Saudi Arabia showed interest in him, this was the most serious move, coming out of Turkey.

Howe had made it plain: to lose him at this time was out of the question.

Trippier has a contract until 2026, and he will assist Newcastle in their European qualification and domestic silverware hunt.

His key role at St. James Park is highlighted by Trippier Transfer Standstill.

Newcastle are going to a cup final and looking towards the Champions League, and so they are not getting rid of their experienced leader.
