Presently, the transport costs increase the prices of fuel by approximately 45 naira per litre.

The ₦720 billion investment of Dangote will consume ₦1.07 trillion in logistics costs per year.

This will aid in reducing the prices at the pumps, relieve inflation and assist the struggling filling stations in the country.

The country consumes 65 million litres per day of fuel with 45m litres of petrol, 15m Ltrs of diesel and 5 million litres of aviation fuel.

The new strategy of Dangote will be backed by the national network of CNG stations.

It will generate more than 15,000 new jobs of drivers and support personnel.

According to experts, the project will improve 42 million micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Lower fuel prices imply reduced running expenses and increased funds to be used in expansion.

This is not merely a plan to get cheaper petrol, it is a sign of economic recovery.

This step will change the energy sector and will bring the actual financial relief to millions of Nigerians.
