Ghanaian producer MoG Beatz has made a damning accusation against dancehall star Shatta Wale, alleging that the artist used his intellectual property to scam an international company.
MoG claimed that Shatta Wale allegedly used a beat he produced to seal a business deal abroad without giving proper credit or financial compensation.
“This guy used my IP to scam an international company. I’m just waiting to see how far he’ll go with the lies,” MoG said
Although he did not mention the name of the company involved, MoG hinted that the situation may soon escalate if Shatta Wale continues to downplay the issue. The producer also noted that this is not the first time Shatta Wale has monetised a song built on his production without settling outstanding royalties.
The post has since sparked heated debate on social media, with fans and industry insiders calling for transparency and proper legal action if the allegations are true.
Shatta Wale is yet to respond to the claims.
