A supporter of Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has sparked reactions online after expressing strong confidence that the country will achieve steady electricity before the end of the president’s tenure.

In a statement that has circulated widely on social media, the supporter said he was willing to stake his life on the prediction.

“I’m betting my life that before President Tinubu finishes his tenure, Nigeria will have steady electricity.

If not, stone me to death wherever you see me,” he declared.

The comment has since generated mixed reactions among Nigerians, with some people expressing hope that the country’s power supply will improve, while others remain skeptical due to long-standing electricity challenges.

Nigeria has struggled with unstable power supply for decades, making electricity reforms a key issue for successive administrations.
