The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has attributed recent failure issues on its stamp duties payment portal to incompatibility between its newly upgraded system and those of partner agencies.

The misalignment has disrupted processing, leaving some users unable to complete transactions.

In a statement shared via its official X handle, CAC assured the public that resolution teams including engineers from partner agencies are working to restore seamless operations. A permanent fix is near completion, the commission said.

Beyond just resolving the current glitch, CAC provided a glimpse into its product roadmap.

Over the coming weekend, the commission plans to roll out a simplified, AI-powered post-incorporation filing system, starting with streamlined handling of Annual Returns.
