Hosanna City Ethiopia launched a 35-kilometer corridor development project that costs 3.8 billion Birr. The strategic initiative focuses on two main objectives: improving tourism and attracting investment and creating employment throughout the city.
The city’s officials predict that this development will help Hosanna transform into a modern city as it enhances urban transport systems alongside improving the overall appearance of the area.
The project will create nearly 2000 local jobs in the area, and its construction period extends to three months, according to Mayor Dawit Tumdedo. The first 2.6-kilometer stretch has finished construction, but the team remains busy finishing all other sections.
The initiative will redesign the city into a sustainable urban environment through its integration of contemporary infrastructure systems.
