A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after revealing that her biggest relationship dealbreaker is a man who doesn’t speak in tongues.

In a viral video shared on TikTok by @peoplequicktalk, she revealed that a man who doesn’t speak in tongues or belong to a church department can never be loyal.

She claimed that such men lack spiritual discipline and commitment, which is why many marriages today fail.

The lady went on to say that a man who speaks in tongues and actively serves in church is usually spirit-filled and faithful, adding that as a Christian, speaking in tongues is one of her major relationship criteria.

Some netizens agreed with her, saying spirituality is key to a successful marriage, while others dragged her for being “too spiritual” and unrealistic about relationships.

Another added:

“Speaking in tongues doesn’t mean faithfulness, my sister.”

Her opinion has stirred mixed reactions online, with many debating whether spirituality or character should be the real dealbreaker in relationships.
