Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has disclosed that she will be returning back to her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, to secure her family’s safety and her brother’s release.

In a series of emotional social-media posts on Friday, the actress accused the billionaire politician of using his influence to persecute her family after the arrest of her brother, Samuel ‘Sammy West’ Daniels, and an alleged arrest warrant issued against her mother, Rita Daniels.

The actress, visibly distraught in a video shared on her page, lamented how she had been mocked online while silently enduring emotional turmoil.

“It’s okay to laugh as per oo — when she was flaunting the wealth, were we enjoying it with her?

But nobody ever flaunts their sadness because of this very reason — mockery,” she said through tears.

“As long as you were not in my shoes you would never understand.

What were you guys expecting me to show off, that I was being beaten?

That I was sad? No. I think I will break this phone.”

Earlier, Regina had posted a lengthy message expressing despair over her brother’s arrest, alleging police corruption and political interference.

“I give up! What was my brother’s offense?

Fighting for his baby sister because his in-law would always beat her up? I actually accorded the Nigerian police some respect but shame on you all!“It’s obvious the highest bidder always wins.

Now I’m crippled! I will return if that’s the only way — do whatever he says, get injected to be like a zombie, get locked up and raped in the house. Only then will my brother return.

Because by law, there is no tangible case against Sammy West! Ned Nwoko is bigger than the whole of Nigeria, that’s what this means.

We lost — or rather, I lost!”In another post, Regina shared a screenshot of a message she said was sent by her mother, which read, “Ned has issued an arrest warrant against me.

I should be arrested on or before Monday.”

The tension reportedly began after Regina’s brother, Sammy West, allegedly confronted Senator Nwoko over claims of domestic abuse against his sister.

Following the confrontation, he was reportedly arrested and transferred from Lagos to Abuja under unclear circumstances.

The actress had stated that the arrest was an act of intimidation aimed at forcing her to return to her husband’s residence and go for rehabilitation from alleged substance abuse.

As of press time, Senator Nwoko has not publicly responded to the actress’s recent allegations.
