Nigerian music legend 2Baba has announced a major career transition, parting ways with his long-time management team after 25 groundbreaking years.

The “African Queen” hitmaker described the move as “necessary for growth” in an emotional Instagram post that sent shockwaves through the industry.

The 48-year-old icon didn’t name his new management but teased “fresh energy to take my legacy higher.”

Sources close to the artist reveal the split with former manager Efe Omorogbe was amicable, stemming from evolving creative directions.

2Baba’s post hinted at unfinished business: “This isn’t retirement – it’s rebirth.” Fans speculate about upcoming albums or a star-studded farewell tour.

The artist holds the record for most Headies Awards (7) and has influenced generations of African musicians.
.

The change comes as 2Baba prepares July 12’s “Warriors Tour” kickoff in Lagos. With 25 million records sold worldwide, his next moves remain highly anticipated.
