Supporters of Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, stormed the streets of Port Harcourt on Wednesday night, singing political songs aimed at the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

The supporters were seen marching through parts of the state capital, drawing attention from residents as they loudly chanted songs backing Governor Fubara.

A video from the street procession has since gone viral on social media, sparking widespread reactions online.

In the clip, the supporters could be heard mocking the former Rivers governor, insisting that his authority has ended in the state.

The video was shared alongside the song titled “Na Minister you be, you no be God”.

During the procession, the supporters openly sang in pidgin English, repeatedly stressing that Wike is no longer the governor of Rivers State. They chanted:

“Wike oh, Na Minister u be oh, you no be God, Wike oh, Na Minister u be oh, Na Fubara be governor.”

Another chant heard in the video went:

“Wike oh, Na Minister you be oh, Na Fubara be governor. Wike you no be God”Message Directed at FCT Minister

The protesters appeared to be sending a clear message to the FCT Minister, telling him to focus on his role at the federal level rather than interfere in Rivers State affairs.

According to them, Siminalayi Fubara remains the legitimate governor of the state despite ongoing political tensions.
