Nollywood actor and filmmaker Tope Adebayo has opened up about the emotional and personal challenges he faced while directing his brother Femi Adebayo’s blockbuster movie Jagun Jagun.

In a candid interview, Tope revealed that his deep involvement in the project took a toll on his personal life in ways he had not anticipated.

The veteran actor acknowledged the immense dedication required for the production, explaining that the role demanded all his energy and focus.“

Tope Adebayo shared how the role left little room for self-care or attention to personal matters,” he said, stressing that the production’s demands affected his day-to-day life.

He admitted that he struggled to fulfil his responsibilities at home.

He revealed that he went through a lot during the production of the movie, stressing that he couldn’t do the husband duties with his wife because he was thinking about the success of the production.

”The intense focus on Jagun Jagun came with heartbreaking consequences.

Tope revealed that after returning home from production, he lost one of his boys.

The actor attributed the loss to spiritual causes following an encounter with someone from the village where the movie was shot.

“I directed Jagun Jagun 1. When we did the movie, I was so consumed by the role that my manhood stopped working, and my boy died shortly after,” he disclosed.

Tope Adebayo’s revelation has sparked widespread discussions across Nollywood and social media, highlighting the pressures and sacrifices faced by actors and directors, particularly in large-scale productions.
