The occasion was the funeral of Otunba Adekunle Ojora, father-in-law to former Senate President Bukola Saraki, who passed away on January 28, 2026, at 93 years old.
Ojora, father of Toyin Saraki, was a respected traditional leader, holding titles such as Otunba of Lagos, Lisa of Ife, Head of the Ojora Royal Family, and Olori Omoba of Lagos.
In addition to his traditional roles, Ojora also had a notable business career, serving as Chairman of AGIP Nigeria Limited from 1971 to 2002.
Following his passing, notable personalities including Dangote, Femi Otedola, and Alhassan Dantata visited Saraki to offer their condolences.
