The exchange began when Gawat shared a poster promoting Wizkid’s upcoming December 28 concert at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS). In his caption, Gawat wrote:

“Ọmọ wa ni” (“Our child”), signaling pride in the singer’s achievements.When fans weighed in, Gawat confirmed his support.

To a fan who commented,

“Wizkid is the face of Lagos. Baba Bolu always promotes Lagos,” Gawat responded: “Yes correct.

We are proud of him.”When another fan asked about Davido, “Ore oga nko?” (referring to the Governor’s aide’s boss’s friend),

Gawat replied:

My Oga is proud of him.

Davido did not take the comments lightly and replied directly to Gawat’s thread.
