The Honorable Minister of Innovation Science and Technology Uche Nnaji stressed the critical importance of this partnership during his remarks.

At this event the minister declared that this partnership targets the creation of a strong technological system for improving Nigeria’s gaming sector efficiency and enhancing its credibility and sustainability.

Key Objectives of the Partnership:

  1. The partnership establishes a detailed legal foundation to regulate Nigerian gaming operations through a system of law.
  2. The partnership works to achieve strict regulatory compliance through which the industry will remove unlicensed operations and fraudulent practices while implementing transparency and fairness.

  1. Through the partnership both parties work together to establish detailed guidelines which optimize the operational processes in the gaming sector.
  2. These policies establish an industry-wide framework to protect consumers alongside boosting market credibility which results in sustainable growth of the gaming sector.

  1. The partnership works to develop fresh income opportunities for the gaming market.
  2. Nigeria seeks to establish an investment-friendly framework which will draw international gaming investors to become a major competitor in worldwide gaming markets.
  3. The agreement provides training and capacity-building programs for gaming professionals which strengthen the sector.
  4. The government plans to launch programs that will fill knowledge deficits and enable stakeholders to adapt through necessary skills development in the ever-changing gaming industry.

Dr. Lady Obiageli Amadiobi from NOTAP described the agreement as important for the modernization of the gaming industry.

The adoption of technology needs to advance Nigerian economic interests while also supporting the nation’s regulatory framework.

The representative of Azare Consulting named Saadatu Hamu explained how this partnership would affect the gaming sector.

The partnership established by the two viewpoints would deliver organizational integrity and international gaming standards to Nigeria’s gaming industry which would boost both sector transparency and attract investors’ trust.

The Government of Nigeria intends to use scientific advancements and technological progress to achieve sustainable economic expansion.

The agreement functions as an integral part of the national initiative to build up the digital economy.

Multiple stakeholders pushed for federal government oversight of online gaming during the past few years.

Member of Nigerian Parliament Benjamin Kalu partnered with six other representatives to present the Central Gaming Bill 2025 which establishes regulations for remote gaming operations and online business operations.

The bill works to solve regulatory gaps between states so Nigeria can achieve nationwide unified regulation.

The gaming industry of Nigeria holds the capability to evolve similarly to how the Afrobeats music sector succeeded.

The gaming industry could develop into a substantial economic force according to expert analysis if Nigeria obtains suitable support and establishment.

A historic accord between the Federal Government and Azare Consulting positions the Nigerian gaming industry for transformation.

The strategic partnership works to establish Nigeria as an industry leader in African gaming through its combined efforts regarding innovation alongside regulatory compliance and capacity development activities.
