Nothing Phone 3 is here. The next flagship starts with a promise that is different.
It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, and it will be updated to Android five years and security updates seven years .
Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis verified the upgrade route that is more powerful than the predecessor.
He observed that the 8s Gen 4 chip allows the long update cycle, which the previous Gen 3 chipset can only support four years.
That puts the backing of Nothing on the same level as high-end brands such as Samsung and Google.
In addition to software, the new chip is 88 % faster in GPU work, 33 % faster in CPU performance and 125 % more effective in AI operations.
Rumored features are a 6.77 LTPO AMOLED screen, three cameras, and a high-end design.
The Nothing will launch officially on July 1 during its event called “Come to Play”.
With a price of about $799, it may provide flagship-level durability, but not a flagship-level price.
The Nothing Phone 3 appears to be future-proof with unrivaled update support and the latest hardware.
Will its daring promise change the consumer expectation of software life on Android?
