Through this restructuring initiative the government shows its dedication to improve administrative performance while specifically addressing agricultural and livestock sector needs in the state. Plateau State dedicates its new livestock ministry to direct its strategic efforts towards strengthening two essential economic sectors within the state.

Multiple important ministerial changes occurred after the cabinet reshuffle because experienced officials received new positions of leadership. Musa Ashoms shifted from leading the Ministry of Information and Communications to assume control of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.

Ubandoma Laven has assumed control of the Works Ministry after his previous role of managing Housing and Urban Development. Dr. Cletus Shurkuk shifted from his position as Health Ministry leader to assume command of the Science and Technology department.

The government strategically selected commissioners to fill essential roles when making recent appointments. The ministerial changes include Sylvanus Dongtoe managing the Housing and Urban Development department in addition to Mrs. Joy Ramnap leading Information and Communications responsibilities. Dr. The Essential Health Ministry is under the direction of Nicholas Baamlong while Cornelius Doeyok supervises the Ministry of Culture Tourism and Hospitality.

Dr Sunday Akpa leads the newly formed Ministry for Livestock Development, Veterinary Services and Fisheries as its first pioneer to drive modernization and growth of the state’s livestock sector.

At the swearing-in ceremony Governor Mutfwang declared that fulfillment of responsibilities requires both innovative thinking and dedication from his commissioners. The Governor charged his commissioners to introduce innovative ideas and solutions to their ministries since their appointment demands important progress on state development plans.

The government demonstrates its adaptive governance style through this restructuring process because it wants to meet changing state requirements. The state administration established specialized ministries and relocated skilled officials in order to improve service delivery and speed up development activities throughout different sectors in Plateau State.

The state governance structure should experience enhanced energy and expertise through new appointments and restructuring which will likely result in better policy implementation and more efficient public service for Plateau State citizens.
