Nigerian cleric Mike Bamiloye has defended his colleague, Pastor Adeboye, from angry Nigerians.

In the wake of the insecurity in the country, Nigerians had urged Adeboye to stage a protest.

Defending him, he said, expecting an 84-year-old servant of God to lead a protest against a government doesn’t make sense.

Explaining why, he stressed that it doesn’t make sense given his age and the mandate of his calling.

He revealed that Adeboye only led a protest against Jonathan on February 2nd, 2020, because he was instructed to by the CAN and PFN.

The cleric added that the major responsibility of pastors is to continually pray for the peace of our Nation and for God’s intervention in the government.“This is what he said.

Many bloggers saw this, but they would project it onto others.

But he spoke against the Evils

And for all those who are expecting an 84-year-old man, Servant of God, to lead a Protest against a Government, this does not make sense by virtue of his age and by the Mandate of His Calling.

And for all those who said he led a Protest against Jonathan on February 2nd 2010, it was the instruction of the CAN and PFN for every church to stage a protest against INSECURITY in the nation, and he complied and led his denomination too, just as some other churches did.

Our major responsibility as the Church of God is to continually pray for the peace of our Nation and the intervention of God in the Government. I TIMOTHY 2:1-3″.
