The event is anticipated to be launched in a residential area near Gwarimpa estate, the ministry said.

The Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development is pleased to inform the public that His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will officially launch the Ministry’s nationwide Renewed Hope Cities and Estates Programme with a groundbreaking ceremony for a 3,112 housing unit project site in Karsana, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, on Thursday, February 8, 2024,”

The Ministry said

Recall that the Ministry has talked about the ‘Renewed Hope Cities and Estate Programme’ three months ago, saying that 1,000 housing units would be constructed in all the 36 states as well as 4000 units in FCT.

As you know the standard of living in the country is at its lowest currently, the cost of rent and building materials has unsurprisingly gone through the roof, as exchange rate is 1,495 Naira/$1.
