The United Kingdown will pay $470 million to Rwanda for it to be a camp for the asylum seekers in the UK.

The National Audit Office (NAO) of the UK on Friday disclosed the amount of fee that would be paid over 5 years on the asylum seekers. A whooping sum of $190,000 on each one sent to the East African Country.

The disclosure of the figures is coming after the Members of Parliament had earlier demanded the details of the project. However, Labour has condemned the sum of money that would be paid on each asylum seeker.

Rwandan President, Paul Kagame, In January came out to explain why the implementation of the deal was taking time. He said this was due to the criticism the plan generated that led to it being suspended by the law court.

This didn’t stop the relationship between the two countries as they recently signed a new treaty last year December.
