Somalia and China explore enhanced cooperation in Mogadishu, focusing on development aid, economic growth, and strengthened diplomatic relations.

Both countries have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening diplomatic and economic relations during high-level discussions in Mogadishu.

The talks focused on deepening cooperation in key areas such as infrastructure, trade, and humanitarian aid.


Somali officials showed gratitude for Chinese support by emphasizing the necessity of developing sustainable growth projects.

China intends to increase its investment efforts in Somalia through strategic industry sectors which build economic growth along with stability.

The countries recognized diplomatic ties must be strengthened.

The discussions focused on the reconstruction initiatives where China would play a role and the infrastructure projects that would lead to sustained economic growth.

Somalia intends to utilize Chinese expert knowledge and financial backing to develop its economy.

China affirmed its dedication to launching development initiatives which would enhance the standard of living in Somalia during the conference meeting.
