The arrest took place at The Lowry Hotel, where Brown was staying after arriving in the UK for his upcoming Breezy Bowl XX world tour.

The incident in question dates back to February 19, 2023, at Tape nightclub in London’s Mayfair district.

Brown is accused of striking music producer Abe Diaw over the head with a tequila bottle and subsequently punching and kicking him.

Diaw sustained injuries that required hospitalization and the use of crutches during his recovery.

Following the incident, Diaw filed a civil lawsuit against Brown, seeking $16 million (£12 million) in damages for the injuries and losses he claims to have suffered.

Brown’s arrest comes just weeks before the commencement of his Breezy Bowl XX world tour, which includes performances in several UK cities.

It remains unclear how this legal development will impact the tour schedule.

As of now, Brown’s representatives have not publicly commented on the arrest or the allegations.
