Egypt digital innovation hub expands as Silicon Expert, a subsidiary of Arrow Electronics, demonstrates its commitment to advancing the nation’s tech landscape.

 The ICT Minister Dr. Amr Talaat together with Al-Qalyubia Governor Major General Ayman Attia and MP Ahmed Badawi toured the Banha data center to witness the AI-powered solutions that Silicon Expert uses for electronics supply chain management across the world.

The Banha office of Silicon Expert functions with over 350 data science and automation and AI experts who serve 53 countries through their work.

The location between Banha and Menoufia Universities enables center staff to develop research partnerships and provide internships which strengthens Egypt’s digital economy footprint.

Talaat as Minister showed his support for talented workers and their importance to offshoring while promoting government training opportunities throughout the governorates.

This method creates an enduring talent supply while providing Silicon Expert and other organizations with their expansion needs.

The visit demonstrates Egypt’s digital transformation strategy which supports the national Vision 2030 objectives.

Through its Banha investment Silicon Expert delivers both technological capacity growth for Egypt and employment generation and infrastructure development outside Cairo’s boundaries.

During the visit ITIDA CEO Ahmed El-Zaher detailed the agency’s commitment to create favorable conditions for high-tech investment through the combination of skilled personnel together with strong national infrastructure backed by customized government support which draws international companies to the country.

The initiative demonstrates Egypt’s long-term strategy to develop itself as an advanced engineering services and predictive analytics regional center which builds strength through human capital and strategic partnerships to fuel innovation and economic development.
