Star safety alert: Taylor Swift wins a temporary restraining order to protect herself and family from a delusional stalker.

Star Safety Alert has surged into headlines. Taylor Swift was granted a temporary restraining order on June 9 after a man repeatedly visited her Los Angeles home.

The individual, identified as Colorado resident Brian Jason Wagner, allegedly stalked Swift from July 2024 through May 2025. He claimed she was his partner and mother of his child—”all untrue and disconnected from reality,” according to her court filing.

One frightening visit involved Wagner allegedly carrying a glass bottle at her home. Swift says he also altered his driver’s license to list her address and tried rerouting her mail.
His background check revealed a history of incarceration and obsessive letters sent from jail

In the filing, Swift declared she fears for her safety and that of her family, citing Wagner’s refusal to leave and his disturbing mails to her staff.

The restraining order bars him from coming within 100 yards of Swift, her home, vehicle, and workplace—effective until a full court hearing on June 30

Swift’s experience isn’t isolated. She previously faced stalking threats during her Eras Tour, including arrests in New York and Germany. Her latest legal action highlights the darker side of celebrity fame—and the critical need for protective laws.

Star Safety Alert underscores the urgency of stronger measures against stalking. As Taylor Swift and partner Travis Kelce pursue long-term protections, the case may prompt broader reform in safeguarding public figures.
