Apple is working on a new feature to be equipped on their next iWatch series. The company launched the iPhone 15 series alongside the iWatch series 9 a few months ago but the above-mentioned features were excluded.

The sleep apnea detection and blood pressure monitoring features will be featured in the upcoming iWatch series. According to an analyst, Mark Gurman, Apple will include more than those two features in 2024.

The 2023 released iWatch series 9 did not stand out from the existing iWatch series 8. This caused the sales of the iWatch series 9 to be relatively low or not reach its projected sales number. Apple’s goal for the 2024 iWatch series is to make it standout from the rest.

According to Mark Gurman, the iWatch series 9 having a bright display and featuring a double tap gesture did not convince Apple users to upgrade their series 8 for 9.

Mark Gurman also added that Apple is looking towards changing the style/look of the 2024 iWatch.
