Head of Design For iPhone & iWatch, Tang Tan To Leave Apple Inc. In 2024

Apple Design Chief Tang Tan is reported by Bloomberg to be leaving Apple Inc. in 2024. He is set to leave the company in early 2024, February.

According to Bloomberg, Tang is the second executive leaving the giant tech firm after Steve Hotelling. Steve Hotelling is Apple’s executive in charge of iPhone’s touch ID technology and iPhone’s screen.

Tang Tan is the vice president of the product design department at Apple. His departure will give room for promotion.

According to a report on Reuters, the head of Apple product design will now report to the senior VP of the engineering department of the company, John Ternus.

It was also reported by Bloomberg that an executive, Kate Bergeron from the Mac department will now take over the future design of the iWatch.
