Italy showed its dedication to cultural and educational collaboration with Gabon through the March 17, 2025 campus visit of Stefano Moscatelli the Italian Ambassador to Gabon at Libreville Fashion School.


Director Bernadette Tchandy at the school greeted Ambassador Moscatelli with warmth since she possesses expertise in Italian fashion.

The Ambassador seized this occasion to connect with developing fashion professionals from Gabon.

The Libreville Fashion School plays a central role in developing local designers because it lets them develop their abilities while showcasing their creativity.

As director of the school Tchandy brings her Italian fashion knowledge to guide curriculum development which combines Italian design concepts with Gabonese cultural expressions.

The educational fusion provides enriched learning opportunities which produces special designs that appeal to audiences from both domestic and international markets.

The cultural relations between Italy and Gabon receive diplomatic support through Ambassador Moscatelli’s visit.

The Italian Embassy in Libreville takes a lead role in supporting initiatives which build cultural exchange programs and educational partnerships and artistic cross-border initiatives.

These events play a crucial role in building better understanding and friendly relations between Italy and Gabon.

Through his visit Ambassador Moscatelli met students while sharing details of international fashion markets and motivating them to reach excellence in their professional practice.

Fashion design requires cultural heritage understanding according to the Ambassador and he complimented students about their creative methods that showcase Gabon’s vibrant traditions.

Through his interactions with the students the Ambassador provided inspiration which drove them toward achieving international recognition.
