NPP Ghana’s opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), known as Opoofo, has attributed the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) 2024 electoral victory partly to the participation of attractive women in their campaign.

During an interview with Kumasi-based Akoma FM Opoofo noted that the NDC underwent a significant change because it now attracted beautiful women who didn’t match the party’s former image according to Opoofo.

According to Opoofo the NDC traditionally attracted older female followers as part of its historical support base.

During the 2024 elections he observed many young attractive women who chose to openly back the NDC.

According to his analysis the party shifted to a format which increased its voter magnetism.

Followers of the NDC received positive reactions when wearing party merchandise in the Ashanti Region although it was previously uncommon.

The NDC experienced image transformation and electoral success due to this observed shift according to Opoofo.

Research reveals that Ghana’s political demographic and strategic approaches are changing because the representation of supporters alongside their party image affects electoral results.
