According to a statement on Tuesday by the INEC Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Mohammed Kudu Haruna, the final phase of the CVR will resume for its third and final phase on Monday, 11th May 2026.

He added that the exercise will end on Friday, 10th July 2026.

Ganduje Recognises Sanusi As Emir Of Kano

Former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, on Tuesday publicly recognised Muhammadu Sanusi II as the Emir of Kano and Chairman of the Kano State Council of Chiefs.
